HomeServer Backup is a private backup utility operated solely by its owner. It is not a public service.
The application uses rclone and Google OAuth to access Google Drive for storing and managing backup files.
Access is limited to files created by or explicitly authorized for the application, using the drive.file scope.
Backup archives are encrypted with Restic before being uploaded to Google Drive.
OAuth credentials are stored in the private server's protected configuration files.
The application does not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or independently share it with third parties. Google Drive is used as the storage provider.
Backup files are retained according to the owner's configured backup retention policy and can be deleted by the owner.
Google account access can be revoked at any time through Google Account security settings.
For privacy inquiries, use the support email shown on the application's Google OAuth consent screen.
